Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote tool needs gender, date of birth, general health, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term length—those six answers return rates from carriers. Your name, address, and health details come later, only if you choose to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They are the rates each carrier quotes for the health class you selected. The final premium depends on what the carrier decides after underwriting, which may improve, confirm, or adjust the class. This site does not offer insurance or guarantee any price.
What happens when I click Apply?
You provide your name, and the application is created from the exact quote you picked, then continues on the carriers' secure application system. You can exit and return later, and you sign using your electronic signature. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), handles applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the carrier, coverage amount, and your answers. Carriers marked Immediate coverage can approve eligible applicants instantly without an exam; each quote states whether an exam is required, might be required, or is not required.
Is a longer term better?
A term covers the years when financial loss would hurt the most: a mortgage, children at home, a business loan. Longer terms cost more per month but hold the rate steady for decades. The quote tool compares 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool does not capture contact information, we never sell or share visitor data, and our tracking is cookieless. Visit the privacy page for the complete list of what is collected and by whom.
